Explore Vipava
The Vipava Valley lies in the west of Slovenia, where central Slovenia transitions into Bassa Friulana in Italy. From east to west, it is bordered by the Nanos and Hrušica plateaus and the distinct edge of Trnovski Gozd plateau. In the south, it is separated from the Karst by the Vipava Hills, and in the west, the valley gives way to the Gorica plain.
