Day-trip 3 – Notranjska, 1.8. 

Notranjska – a land of mysterious depths, crystal clear streams, and enchanting forests, where every path leads to a story waiting to be discovered.

This day trip is perfect for curious adventurers eager to uncover the hidden corners of Slovenia’s green heart. Our journey will lead us along scenic gravel roads, over hills and through peaceful valleys. One of the highlights awaits at a majestic medieval castle – considered one of the most beautiful in the country – where a local guide will share stories from its rich past.

After soaking in the atmosphere of centuries gone by, we’ll enjoy a lunch at a restaurant, where homemade flavors capture the essence of Notranjska. In the afternoon, we’ll continue toward the town of Cerknica, famed for its vibrant carnival traditions and the mysterious intermittent lake. As we travel through vast forests and karst landscapes, we’ll connect with the quiet rhythms of nature and explore the karst phenomena that is shaping the region.

Price? 40€ per person (35€ for kids under 14) – including parking, guided tours and lunch

Journey lenght? 100 km, from 9.45 to 18.00.

Due to space constraints, we kindly ask for a maximum of two people per car, with exceptions for children up to 14 years old.
