NEW AT THE WORLD MEETING: THE YOUTH TENT!
Our younger generation is eager to connect more closely with their peers, so they’re inviting fellow 2CV youth to join them in our round red tent – the same one you might remember from Switzerland.
The Youth Tent will feature a daily programme full of daytime activities, such as workshops, games and karaoke, as well as an evening programme with performances by local bands and a DJ. The Youth Tent schedule is already published as part of the official event programme – check it out here:PROGRAMME

DAYTRIPS – REGISTRATION OPEN
The three daytrips we announced last month – Idrija, Piran, and Notranjska – are now live on our website. Each trip includes parking, a guided tour, and a meal, offering a wonderful opportunity to explore a different side of Slovenia.
- Idrija (30 July): A UNESCO-listed town with lace-making tradition, a mercury mine visit, a traditional žlikrofi lunch, and a tasting at a local farm.
- Piran (31 July): A day by the Adriatic Sea, with rare access to park within the historic town, a guided tour, seafood or vegetarian lunch, and free time to swim or explore.
- Notranjska (1 August): A scenic drive through Slovenia’s green heart, with a tour of Snežnik Castle, lunch, and stops in Cerknica and Rakov Škocjan to experience natural karst phenomena.
You can read detailed descriptions here: DAY TRIPS and register and pay the participation fee directly through our online store here: IDRIJA – PIRAN – NOTRANJSKA

REMINDER: NO OPEN FIRES
We’ve received a number of questions about the fire ban on the campsite, so here’s a reminder:
All types of solid fuel fires are prohibited. This includes wood and charcoal barbecues or fire pits of any kind.
Gas-powered stoves (Campingaz, Coleman, etc.) are allowed.
This rule comes directly from the airport authorities, as the event is taking place on airport grounds and must comply with their safety protocols. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
PRESALE RUNS UNTIL JULY 25
The presale period for registration and tickets ends on Friday, July 25. After that, prices will be slightly higher, so we reccomend registering now here: REGISTRATION
FUN FACT: SLOVENIA IS HAPPY AND PEACEFUL
According to the 2024 Global Peace Index, Slovenia is ranked among the top 10 most peaceful countries in the world. And it doesn’t stop there: according to a recent Eurostat survey, Slovenia ranks just behind Finland on the list of the EU’s happiest countries. In the survey, people were asked to rate their life satisfaction from 0 to 10 – and Slovenia scored a 7.7!
